About the Artist

Artist Biography
Elizabeth Spencer is an accomplished mixed-media designer specializing in the innovative fusion of contemporary textiles and advanced botanical raw materials. A graduate showcased at the prestigious New Designers exhibition, her early signature work includes a highly acclaimed series of historic Victorian dresses, pieces of which are proudly held in private and professional textile designer collections.
With a rich history of selected gallery exhibitions, her current practice focuses on the delicate relationship between structural forms and natural textures. Through proprietary dual-material blending techniques, she captures fleeting botanical impressions in permanent media. Her studio work explores the boundaries of fine craft, moving fluidly between textile concepts and botanical sculpture to create exhibition-grade contemporary art.
